Lasers. A pistol. A car bomb. A physicist. A goddess. A Soviet spy.
What could possibly go wrong?
In this 80's era espionage story that will determine the fate of the Cold War, an American physicist named Dr. Y must create a super soldier out of photon energy before an invading Soviet spy wrecks the party.
"I Know" is a short film written and directed by Ryan Stephen Holly. "The inspiration behind the story started out with a what if: what if instead of exploring a DJ manipulating sound, we explore a physicist manipulating light," Holly said. The interior light lab sequences were shot at Eddy Sound in Colorado Springs. The intricate laser sequences evoke a retro-future feel given the 80s era. The exterior sequences were shot at a now demolished warehouse in Denver's Cole Neighborhood.

The film stars YTonez as Dr. Y, Anita Voskovykh as Theia, and Ryan Stephen Holly as Igor. Theia is the strongest and most enigmatic of these characters. An 80's reincarnation of the Ancient Greek goddess, Theia's powers and motives lurk in ambiguity until the explosive climax. Igor, a Soviet spy, is dead-set on Dr. Y's destruction and Theia's abduction at any cost. Can Dr. Y and Theia escape Igor's clutches and embark on healing the world before it's too late?
"Nobody said I could do it, but nobody can see what I see."
